OFF KEY is music done differently from the expected note, a social project to improve public spaces with live musical performances.
In order to enrich the design of a concert hall, Doing bits collaborated with the Guild Sound Collective to study the effects live music has on the general public. Be it cheering up their rush to work or providing a soundtrack to a well needed rest, the hands of musicians can benefit the minds of pedestrians. This experiment looked to take live music from its typical context of concert halls and expose everyone to it in an everyday way.
Pause. Rest. Listen and begin to feel the positive effects music can bring when you begin to think OFF KEY.
